Beautiful area, we stayed at the campground, in a tent site, very quiet and peaceful. My only issue was the bathhouse could have used some attention maybe some updates or at least some TLC. The bike rental prices are crazy expensive in my opinion especially if you have a larger group. The lake is beautiful..it is awesome to have both the lake and the ocean. Overall we would stay again.
Nice park. Visited on my bicycle from JAX beach. Took a spin on the mountain bike trails which were quite fun on my gravel bike (there are some significant roots on the trail which were a bit difficult on the gravel bike, but manageable). Great beach access with both freshwater and saltwater fishing available. Park was clean and tidy.
Excellent place to camp. They have full hookups so you can treat your RV like an apartment while you are there. Plenty to do like bike riding on the many trails, hanging out at the Beach, kayaking on the Lake or relaxing in the park areas. The camping spots are well equipped and maintained. This is always our go-to place for local camping.
