Little Talbot Island was a great place to visit. I recently biked through it. The the scenery was nice and the timucuan trail was all paved. you should bring what you need as far as snacks and supplies. Also be careful of the dangerous currents at the southernmost end of the park. There are plenty of signs warning of the danger in that area. And the area is blocked off. I plan to go back. Soon to do some of the hiking trails and spend more time on the beach. On the day I biked thru the park which was in the second week of April it was very breezy so I didn't have to worry about mosquitoes but I think if your biking through there later in the season you might want to make sure to bring some bug spray.
Went Fishing on the beach with a group. It only has one bigger parking lot and a smaller one. These are not far from the entrance. The south end has been closed for driving to those lots for several years due to storm damage. You can walk all along the beach but the restroom is at the first large parking lot. It was a very windy day and didn't catch anything.
A breath taking state park! Our campground was right near the water and had the most beautiful views. The park staff were incredibly friendly and gave us some insider tips on where to explore. We will absolutely be planning another trip in the near future and couldn't recommend more!!!
