What an awesome place to hike. I was looking for an easy trail since its been years since I hiked and I've been wanting to get back into it. The place is definitely a gem as its got some beautiful views. The trails were easy to follow and the more wooded trails were marked well.
The park I learned, is a privately owned historical spot. There is an old canal that doesn't seem big enough to move supplies. Interesting how things change.
Lots of beautiful flowers, birds and sights. Got to witness a dragon fly swoop in and grab his lunch mid air.
Thank you for the much needed moment of peace. God bless!!
Great hiking trails, creeks, streams, pedestrian Bridges & boardwalks, a river & a historical canal all in one area. Check Facebook for hours, etc.
Nonprofit -$5.00 admission. Immediately off I-95 ( south Savannah).
Beautiful hike with lovely nature and history! Choices of trail branches so you can vary the length of your hike. They have many excellent things coming up in the future, so keep checking in!
