3 Best Hotels in Elgin, IL

This is a nice hotel with a great staff. Chris is particularly helpful, but I find all the staff to be accommodating. Especially Lionel, he works nights and is so kind. I have stayed here many times when I have business in Elgin. There has never once been a problem. Even during these difficult times, Country Inn of Elgin makes you feel safe, secure, and welcome. Great breakfast. The owner is very nice as well. Perfect stays every time. You can't go wrong with Country Inn & Suites in Elgin.

For everybody that says that this place sucks, try being a local and living a few miles away and this is a home away from home. It's a hotel. People have lives. And mind your own business. And this place is great for when your family sucks and you need a place for peace and quietness. Thank you, STAFF

Very nice staff , clean rooms and comfortable bed and bathroom, complimentary breakfast was good and fresh and sitting area well kept and clean

We recently stayed at Comfort Suites and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome with their warm and friendly service. It really set a positive tone for the rest of our stay. The room itself was clean, smelled fresh, and offered plenty of space to relax comfortably. I was especially impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The hallways and elevator also smelled great, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. It was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Comfort Suites for anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and comfortable place to stay.

I'm glad I chose this location after seeing all the nearby attractions. We got into town early and requested them to store our luggage but lucky for us they had a room available and checked us in early. The manager was well acquainted with the area and happily guided us to nearby attractions. My kids loved the pool, they didn't have towels readily available but when we requested them they were happy to provide them to us. We had issues with the TV but the operator was able to quickly get us maintenance. The rooms were cozy, no stale or chemical smells, extra pillow and blanket readily available.

Delightful stay! The building and room were nice and very clean. There were no foul odors or signs of grime. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast offered a large variety and was well-supplied until after the breakfast time slot ended. My only complaint is that the bathroom door in our room didn't latch or lock due to being slightly too small for the door frame. Highly recommend!
