3 Best Hotels in Jersey City, NJ

Booked on points for one night to come in concert very grateful to have selected this property. Typically book Hyatt House brand (because breakfast inclusive). All the staff at Regency were excellent including third party Valet (Raphael checked us in). Jasmin (check-in) and Candice (check-out) at guest services were welcoming and gracious. Four stars because rooms on the Second floor we stay in is directly below lobby/restaurant level which is tile so you will hear noise, which was our experience and only reason why there isn’t a 5star. Ear plugs as a gratuity in the rooms might be something to consider giving guests on this floor. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Housekeeping on our floor greeted us warmly in the halls. The view of the river south was lovely watching boats come and go. Views of the sky line and rising sun were clutch. Brunch was substantial and food was fresh. Gabe was lovely waiter. Location is directly next to PATH station and transit points. Great restaurants in the area surrounded by mix of commercial and residential high rises. Massive sundial out on the pier is a good spot for pictures and whole island view of Manhattan to the east and Statue of liberty south. Would definitely book again.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City. I was upgraded to a spacious corner suite with a king bed and stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and Hudson River—truly a highlight of the experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room felt clean, modern, and well-appointed. The lobby has clearly been refreshed and looks great, giving the property a nice, upscale feel. Valet parking was fast and convenient, which made arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. While I didn’t have time to try the breakfast, everything else about the stay was smooth. The staff was friendly and helpful, though the front desk did seem understaffed during both check-in and check-out, leading to a bit of a wait. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again—especially for the views, comfort, and easy access to NYC without the hassle of staying in Manhattan.

Terrific room with a great view! Had the burrata salad and tomato bisque and both were delightful. The server couldn’t have been any nicer and the restaurant was casual, and comfortable with a killer view! I was also very impressed with Jersey City. Haven’t been here in many years, but we will definitely come back. Lots of restaurants, nearby, and great transportation into the city.
