Arturo was our guy! He is extremely polite, nice and has all the knowledge to make the installation quick and effective. Was always available to help us and to answer our questions. He helped us pick the best shades for our living room and we couldn’t be more happy with the final result. This is a great company and if you are shopping around for your new shades, please you just found the right place for it.

Arturo is very professional. I told him the parameters I wanted and he came back with the perfect recommendations and no time was wasted. He also spotted a minor imperfection that I would have never caught and replaced a shade with no extra cost. Highly recommend. As part of the process, I checked in with 2 other competitors before I went with Arturo and nothing beats his price/quality.

Arturo is great, I would highly recommend. He did the job quickly against a tight time line. The shades are high quality and work great! We had a terrible experience with the shade store before finding Arturo. The difference is the personal touch he brings to every project.

Easy 5 stars! Saw several previous reviews about runner installs and popped in over the holidays to check out the options in store. Gary was tremendously helpful pointing out options for our stairs and what would be best in that sort of high traffic area, and in facilitating getting samples so we could see what looked best compared to the floors and walls. Made it easy to figure out sizing for our staircases (one is 10” narrower than the other) and for the space in between the two. Install was professional and quick, and now going up and down the stairs is 10x more enjoyable than it ever was before.

Hauptman Floors and the Solomon family are Jersey City legends! Established in 1909, Hauptman has been in business for over a century for good reason. This small business has done big things for the surrounding main street community. Supporting this family-owned business also supports local jobs and the community. They are very hardworking, honest, and you can count on them for home solutions that work. Very proud to have this business as part of our main thoroughfare. Their customer service and prices are great.

Great experience from start to finish. Put in a runner on a house in North Bergen. Huge selection of brands and great advice to pick out the carpet i loved. They measured and installed with good customer service the entire way. Great value too. Will be back for any carpet needs I have from here. Shout out to Doug.

Had the best experience with The Shade Place! Shivani responded super quickly to our initial inquiry, and was super helpful throughout the whole process. She walked us through all of our options, and made sure to help us stay in budget. When the installation day came, the installer (Michael) was able to install all 10 shades in about an hour. All around great experience and the shades look great. We went with Hunter Douglas Duette style in the Light Filtering 457 - Journal color. A few open from top & bottom, while we opted to have the bottom only for some windows. Can't recco The Shade Place more.

We recently replaced our window treatments with a Hunter Douglas fully automated product. Very happy with the results and can highly recommend our salesperson Shivani and The Shade Place. Shivani gave us great product advice. The team measured accurately, and the installation team was outstanding. Clean, precise work. The latest generation of PowerView allows seamless integration between phone app, remote, and the most common third-party home kits.

Right from selection, product recommendations and installation it was a great experience. Shivani was an absolute delight to work with. She took all our requirements into account and helped us pick the right thing. She was always responsive and helped co-ordinate the installations. Couldn't be more happier. Our home looks beautiful with the new shades thanks to Shivani and The Shade Place.
