We have stayed at the Crown Plaza in Ventura many times over the years. It is a great place to stay with quick access to downtown Ventura and the 101 freeway. We had stayed in their regular rooms for years and tried the King Junior Suite this time. It was a great room! The extra size and better bathroom set-up along with having 2 balconies sealed the deal for us. We will be staying their exclusively when we return.

I live here in town so my visits are for the Aqua Bar and Moofish Cafe. The Aqua Bar has fantastic views, happy hour and a full menu to order from. We also are so grateful on the big holidays because a hotel restaurant is open and serving when most independent places are closed. It's a great place for live music as well. If you're a local and haven't stopped by to enjoy the patio and views, you're missing out.

Rooms are pretty small but for a great view of the ocean who cares! It was a busy weekend, gym was great had everything I needed. No complimentary breakfast though, you’d have to pay extra $80 but definitely worth staying here if you want to enjoy Ventura beach!

VENTURA BEACH MARRIOTT REVIEWS

A nice, clean hotel with great service. The location isn’t the most exciting - it’s a bit of a commercial area - but we walked across the street to the state beach and to enjoy Jolly Oyster. The rooms were quiet and comfortable with little amenities like a pillow spray and a pod-style coffee machine. Some of the rooms have views of the ocean while others look in on the pool courtyard. We found it a little cold for the pool in January but loved the hot tub.

I had a wonderful stay at the Ventura Beach Marriott! Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff made the process seamless. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a larger balcony room with an amazing view of the mountains and even a little peek-a-boo of the ocean.

WOW! The food catering here was phenomenal. The location of the hotel is conveniently right next door to in-n-out (classic) and a 5 min walk to the beach. Lastly, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. If I am ever back in Ventura, I will be sure to stay here.

What a nice stay! Very clean quiet close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did a lot of walking on the beach and I needed aspirin and the front desk person offered me her own personal aspirin. We loved our stay here. Thank you for the late check out! Highly recommend!

Staff was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The hotel and grounds were immaculate and my room was bright and cheerful and the double windows kept out street noise. Parking is limited but the staff worked to help me fit in two large vehicles. The beach is walking distance from the hotel as well. I will definitely return the first chance I get. Thank you so much!!!

Nicest most helpful staff, comfortable bed, and perfect location for the M2B marathon. Made race weekend very pleasant and less stressful.
