The Read House

The Read House never disappoints! Large, clean rooms, the friendliest staff in Chattanooga, valet is super efficient, room service is good (try the breakfast potatoes - they are DELISH) AND there is a lively bar in the lobby with a hidden billiards room! The beautiful prohibition period decor and staff uniforms are the cherry on top. The location is within walking to just about any place you would want to go downtown. There is also a large indoor pool with a water fall. I was there for a wedding and the banquet staff were attentive and catering options were very well executed. This property offers great amenities, 5 Star customer service and tons of attention to detail! 10 out of 10, worth the visit!

We loved staying at the Read House. It was absolutely beautiful! We brought two small children and stayed in the executive king suite so that we could have a separate space for them. It worked out nicely. The hotel isn’t necessarily kid friendly but it worked out and it was nice that my husband and I got to enjoy this hotel as the one aspect of our trip not geared toward the kids. There are a lot of restaurants walking distance and a few at the hotel as well. We got Peet’s Coffee for breakfast a few times and it was great. The hotel decor takes your breath away. I would definitely come back if we were to return to Chattanooga in the future!

AMAZING! First but definitely not last time staying. So much fun and great service. Just wish there was a small microwave in the rooms, but overall amazing. At checkout time, me and my family member wanted to go to the library nearby, but didn’t want to hold all of our luggage. They let us leave all of our stuff behind the front desk, and told us to take our time and then get our stuff whenever. I will be staying again.
