All their meals are perfectly prepared and are made with halal meat. Taste of India serves lunch buffets from Tuesday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday. Best service I have had in Columbus GA! The food was incredibly delicious. We had the butter chicken, vindaloo chicken with garlic naan. We snacked on some papadum while we waited for our food. The Indian chai is only $2 and is amazing.

The quality and the quantity of the food was too good, we stopped on the way to Atlanta looking for Indian food. The service was very welcoming and If we pass through this route again will definitely go back to this place.

Great atmosphere, waitress made a great selection of dishes to try to meet our needs. This is our second time here and will definitely continue to return. Highly recommend it.

SAFFRON COLUMBUS REVIEWS

The food is served quickly. We ordered the butter chicken ( medium spice) and the lamb biryani, garlic naan bread, chapati and chai. In my opinion, butter chicken was basic meal and regular portion size. The medium spice level was spicy but not like burn your lips spicy. The lamb biryani was our favorite and the portion size was large. The lamb meat was spicy but not the dish as a whole. The garlic naan was good and tasted as expected. The chapati is has a slight sweetness like wheat bread. The chai is not what you get at Starbucks. We didn’t like it.

5 stars all around. My daughter & boyfriend have eaten the lunch buffet here at least 5 times and they never disappoint. As someone who’s lived all over Georgia , i can confidently say this is the best Indian food in the state.

5 stars! My husband and I started off with the golden elephant and passion fruit mule to drink. We shared the fried cauliflower, and each had the butter chicken. We also tried the cheesy garlic naan. My favorite was the fried cauliflower! We will definitely be back.

JHOOMAR INDIAN CUISINE REVIEWS

One of the most beautiful restaurants in the Columbus area I’ve seen in awhile. Extremely modern and decorated well. Has spots where you can take pictures, bar for drinks with friends, tables big enough for a good sized party, and don’t get me started on the food. I’m not familiar with Indian food, so the fact they had a menu with pictures was extremely helpful. Everything was so flavorful, not overly seasoned or spicy. My wife and I were on a date, and didn’t have our children with us. But there was another couple with a toddler, so yes the restaurant is children friendly. 10/10 please give this place a try.

The atmosphere is great for a date night or business lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Food was nice you customize the spicy level of your entree and presentation felt fancy. They also have a full bar.

Ordered food to go and really feel like it was thrown together. $32 for lamb chops that were over cooked and dry. Spinach and mushrooms was a children’s serving. Goat looked okay. Just feel like for $75 it could’ve been done better.
