Grassa is a leading Italian restaurant in Portland. The spaghetti tasted very fresh, and the salad was very flavorful, definitely recommend. The garlic bread could have been a bit more garlicky but was still good nonetheless. Their staff is making fresh pasta right in front of you. Don't forget to try handmade pasta carbonara for $11, Spaghetti Aglio olio for $8 & Cacio e Pepe for $10. Delivery service and gift cards available. There is a big menu collage at the entrance, with each "plaque" detailing the sauce and other condiments that go with the pasta. Grassa manages to make dining there a memorable experience.

Piazza Italia has 20 years of experience, and this is a family-run restaurant. The staff is warm and lively and is mainly made up of family members and friends. It is a place where the Italian language bounces off the walls, TVs are locked on soccer and Italian channels, and where all of their passions are on display. The desserts are also great, absolutely love the creme brulee, and if you manage to make it here in the fall, the pumpkin cheesecake is next level and is an absolute must. They were able to take your order quickly, and you received food in a reasonable time frame.
