Good food, great drinks. Although busy, food usually comes out quick. I like that there is tons of dog friendly outdoor seating. Recently, We got lunch here... some spicy margs - mango habanero (beautifully spicy... my favorite!)... breakfast tacos and huevo rancheros with shredded chicken (huge portion). Music was great too! I love this place!.

So many wonderful things about our city grabbing a bite of authentic food, the fresh salsas alone I would come back for, meals made with love and served by smiling happy, helpful people equals perfection on top of perfection What a great neighborhood! what a great spot! highly recommended and worth the trip.

I LOVE this place and come back every time I’m in Portland. Delicious tacos with many varieties and awesome margaritas and agua fresca. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Stopped in to meet up with a friend for lunch. The salsa at the Matador has become our favorite salsa ever; so full of flavor, yet not too spicy. Our friend ordered a chicken quesadilla, which came served in a beautiful presentation. My partner and I shared the braised pork carnitas with rice and beans. Overall a very pleasant experience. Our server was Anthony P. and he was quick-witted and charming. He was very attentive to our needs and made our visit feel comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely be back when we visit Portland again.

Really enjoyed my first visit here. 3 arrived early to get a table for 5, they didn't take reservations. Never felt rushed. The service was excellent, and our server made great suggestions! Drinks were wonderful, and the food was delicious! Portions are HUGE! Everyone enjoyed everything. I am very happy that we chose here on our visit to the area.

Great food as always and the bartender today for lunch was awesome. Tequila late night happy hour is always great.

The food was incredible. I was a little afraid at first that for a place this popular it was going to have bland Mexican food. But I've heard they have the best tortas in Portland so we wanted to try it out. We were blown away with everything we ate! Including the chips. Beans were just like my mom's when she makes them at home. I can even say those were some of the best beans I've had at a Latin restaurant! I had the bowl and added the carnitas. The carnitas was packed with flavor. I also had a few drinks and enjoyed it all. So delicious. I enjoyed the friendly service and the place is beautiful! Loved that it's family friendly as well. Can't wait to come back and try the pozole.

I heard the Tortas were good here and they did not disappoint. Great ingredients, friendly and helpful staff, with decent street parking. Also ordered the pozole and it had a depth of flavor that was excellent. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.

AMAZING carnitas torta. Such fresh ingredients and great salsa table side to add at will. Fantastic value for the money. Inclusive restroom signage was a huge plus too.
