TOP 3 MISO JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Yummy!!! I love this place. I will forever rave about it. The wagyu with the stone was really good and really cool. The red stone roll is my go-to. The miso black cod is really good as well. And the fried cheesecake was surprisingly good too. People always say they love this place and thank me for bringing them here even though im not the one paying.
We wanted sushi in a sea of apizza, and enjoyed an amazing meal! Our sushi rolls were amazing and we enjoyed our tuna tartar appetizer, days later we are talking about how tasty it was. Will 100% visit the next time we are in New Haven.
Delicious food and kind service. Great spot right by the corner of Orange and Crown. Atmosphere was great inside! We sat by the sushi bar, and the whole staff was very thankful. Good prices for standard rolls along with creative specials. The maki combo is a good deal for three rolls (California, Alaskan, and Spicy Tuna) and miso soup. Would definitely go again!

TOP 3 RAMEN KURO SHIRO REVIEWS
Love the spicy Ramen, curry rice here is amazing interpretation Japanese version of authentic Indian Garam Masala, I don't know how they have it but fried baby octopus, lidako Kara-Age is perfect match for Grape Soju. As always wonderful food, perfect atmosphere, not too loud, not too dark, but perfect place to hangout and spend time with various drinks and each and every choices of fun and amazing side dishes and ramen.
Definitely recommend! We had spicy miso ramen, tsukemen, and ebi potato -all of which were amazing! I love Japanese ramen so I've been to multiple places, but this is one of the few places I would come back often if I live around it. (So sad I live in different state).
It was good; I liked the dumplings and chicken katsu; the curry sauce was delicious. I think the interior could have been a little better, felt a little low on the energy inside.

TOP 3 MENYA GUM REVIEWS
Amazing experience. They treated my family and my service dog with such care. Along with that the food was delicious! Had the Tori Paitan ramen with Rayu chili oil, and the noodles were the chewy wavy type which is what we prefer. The Katsu Sando sauce was very flavorful and fried well. The katsu don was also crispy and crunchy. Overall I would highly recommend this spot if you’re in the New Haven area! Drove up all the way from NYC, and would definitely come back again.
Great place to stop by and grab a meal. I got there before the place started filling up and was amazed with how the staff kept things moving so smoothly. Food and atmosphere was great. I will definitely come back here and try more of the menu. My only tiny complaint would be that there are no dessert options.
Food was on point and the atmosphere/service was really good. This spot is a nice hole in the wall and offers more options than the typical ramen spot like Mecha Noodle. Don’t sleep on this restaurant!
