MISO JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Delicious food and kind service. Great spot right by the corner of Orange and Crown. Atmosphere was great inside! We sat by the sushi bar, and the whole staff was very thankful. Good prices for standard rolls along with creative specials. The maki combo is a good deal for three rolls (California, Alaskan, and Spicy Tuna) and miso soup. Would definitely go again.
Such a beautiful combo plater, contains all of our favs!! We ordered various rolls and had them put together to share… perfect for Friday night out with the besties!! Great service and clean space, one of my fav sushi spot found at New Haven.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Miso. Our server was friendly and full of recommendations. The New Zealand salmon was divine. Our rolls were great. Our two person volcano cocktail was tasty.

RAMEN KURO SHIRO REVIEWS
Great Ramen and rice place! Parking is on the street with parking meters unless you go on a Sunday when parking is free. We had the excellent house sake hot (large), the spicy ramen in Tonkotsu soup and the Chashu Don rice dish. Staff was really friendly. Will definitely go back.
Enjoyed the taste of ramen in Newhaven. ordered Veggie spicy ramen and veggie fried dumplings. Dumplings were super soft and perfect. Ramen portion is pretty large for one -served with very awesome presentation and variety of toppings to choose from. Will be faced a difficulty if using the chopstick for the first time as I did ,Ramen becomes heavy as it soaks in all the soup- at the same time can’t eat it any faster as the soup is pretty hot too. So happily spent the time chatting with my significant other while waiting for it cool.
Fantastic find. Such a cute resturant. Small, inviting atmosphere that is really cool looking inside. The hit sake was exactly what you wanted. The pork buns were perfect. The ramen was perfect. The original Ramen with pork was very good. The broth had pork hints without being super greasy. The noodles, bamboo, egg and pork were all delicious! The spicy ramen was very good too. Very chili in flavor. We went for lunch and it was great. Can't wait to go back again.

MENYA GUM REVIEWS
The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Had a lot of flavor, the gyoza were so good, the wings were perfectly seasoned, nice crunch. For main plate we had the karrage bowl amazing from the chicken texture, the rice, and i had the ramen with the pork everything again was just so good. It was Definitely flavor town. Angel the owner was so nice sat down to talk To us about the different foods, the culture made this experience a lot more personable. He even recommended this bakery around the corner for coffee and pastries. From the food to customer service we will be coming back. Thank you again for everything.
I was a little skeptical when walking in, seeing as the decor was somewhat bland throughout most of the restaurant, but I was surprised by the quality of everything else. I absolutely loved the food that we ordered here, it tastes as good as it looks! The only thing I wouldn't order again was the beer, but that's more of a fault on my selection rather than the restaurant itself. It's a great place to eat, with reasonable prices, and high quality ingredients.
Loved their karaage so much that we had to order another. The outside was the right amount of crispy and the inside was so incredibly juicy and soft. You can tell they just took it out from the fryer too because it was steaming and really hot when you eat it. The paitan ramen was decent - it was my first time having chicken broth in ramen and I generally prefer tonkotsu ramen so I didn’t like it as much. The katsu sando was good - the toast was so crispy and they used butter to toast it. The only thing is that I wish it had more katsu sauce though. The service is great - they gave us brown sugar boba mochi after.
