MEUX HOME MUSEUM REVIEWS
I'll do this kind of tours. The docents are very knowledgeable and the house has been nicely restore and is well kept. Not every furniture or item is original from the house but it's from that time line and it adds to your imagination while they are telling you the story of the family that lived there. I went on a Sunday and it was just me and another person in the tour. No need to call to reserve beforehand unless you have a larger group. Parking available. Cost it's 10$ per person. You can take pictures but they ask to keep at one per room.
Amazing tour, beautiful house, and knowledgeable docents. We visited from out of town, and we're already talking about coming back just for one of the tea ceremonies held on the grounds. Simply lovely.
After 20 years I went back to see the candlelight Halloween event. The place has changed a bit. However the tour guy did not have information of historical events.

KEARNEY MANSION MUSEUM REVIEWS
I went to the Mansion to see the Chinese Exhibit. I took the full tour. The tour guide Humberto was very knowledgeable and engaging. Karen the Chinese tour guide was equally informative. It was an enjoyable after in the park and Mansion Museum
Kearney Mansion Museum is so much fun and such a hidden gem. I went on a tour a couple weeks ago and the staff is so friendly! I had no idea that Kearney owned so much land, had his own currency and basically created his own little town! Don't worry I didn't spoil too much there's still so much more to know. There is air conditioning and it would be good gor kids. You do go up stairs and out doors for part of the tour. Definitely a bucketlist item! Fresno has some great gems. Candice and Kayla are especially great.
Such a fantastic tour. We had a small group and the historian was very knowledgeable and entertaining too. I love learning the history of the house and area I live in.

FAC WATER TOWER REVIEWS
According to the plaque there was an irrigation ditch that ran through here that powered a grain mill. As the plaque explains, a mob of irate citizens became sick of the smell and garbage accumulaying in the ditch and filled it in one day. After that the mill ran on diesel. Now there is just this cool little park across from the fresno city hall, library, and other local landmarks. It is a great downtown for a walk.
I can't believe I've never gone inside despite living in Fresno for years. It's an amazing gem, definitely worth your time to check it out. The inside is beautiful with a lot of art from local artists on display. They also have free publications with activities to do in the area, so if your looking for something to do this summer this is a great place to look.
It is an iconic piece of history for Fresno. Neat to see it after seeing it in a comedy miniseries in the 80's named well...Fresno. It was being restored.
