“2026 Update: Veterans Memorial Museum is committed to showcasing the efforts of several Legion of Valor members and their wives who worked with the City of Fresno to use the Auditorium of the Fresno Veterans Memorial. The Museum is staffed by volunteers, and they are supported in part by the City of Fresno. Veterans Memorial Museum features 1000s of papers and items donated by Legion of Valor members and others. The Museum offers a range of displays to honour Veterans, including numerous framed citations, photographs, and exhibits that tell the story of America’s wars as seen by soldiers and equipment of different eras that are also on display. The museum offers free admission. ”

KEARNEY MANSION MUSEUM REVIEWS

Kearney Mansion Museum is so much fun and such a hidden gem. I went on a tour a couple weeks ago and the staff is so friendly! I had no idea that Kearney owned so much land, had his own currency and basically created his own little town! Don't worry I didn't spoil too much there's still so much more to know. There is air conditioning and it would be good gor kids. You do go up stairs and out doors for part of the tour. Definitely a bucketlist item! Fresno has some great gems. Candice and Kayla are especially great!

What a beautiful place. Im so glad the historical society has kept this Mansion open. I haven't been here since I was a kid. Brought my grandson. He is doing a report of Fresno history. Just wishing the park area looked nicer. The grass is drying out. Maybe if they did a little more to that. More people would attend. This place brings back so many good memories. I remember peacocks here as well.

I went for a wreath making event and had a fantastic time. Such a wonderful place and they host lots of enriching events. Not just a place to visit once... get involved with the history and hang out in the mansion.

VETERANS MEMORIAL MUSEUM INC REVIEWS

Wow! That was the first time I've been in the museum. It's awesome! Way more stuff in there than you would think. Super clean. Very organized. They have world war I, world war II, Vietnam, and all the wars. A lot of donated uniforms. They also have an armory which is super awesome and they also have a really big area with navel ships models on display. And a Ton of model airplanes. I would go check it out.

Great experience visiting this local museum that has artifacts from multiple wars that the US was involved in. The best part about this museum is that it is totally free.

What an amazing place to visit. We owe our military so much for keeping us free. This memorial is a must see!
