Forestiere Underground Gardens has been a family-owned and operated business for three generations and counting. The garden is an extensive network that is over 100 years old. The site has an underground area of 25 feet and extends over 10 acres. Visitors can go on a one-hour guided walking tour through the development of Baldassare Forestiere. You can see the hand-constructed network of underground spaces, courtyards, and corridors reminiscent of the old catacombs. Forestiere Underground Gardens has underground temperature differences between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius. More rare varieties such as table grapes, kumquats, quinces, loquats, jujubes, carobs, wine grapes, and dates were planted at Forestiere. The garden affords free admission for children four and under.

Fresno Art Museum offers a dynamic experience for appreciating art. The museum has a permanent collection of over 3,600 works, including contemporary and modern art created by local and internationally known artists and a premier collection of Pre-Columbian artifacts from Mexico and the Andes. Fresno Art Museum welcomes, inspires, and educates a diverse regional audience through significant exhibitions, thought-provoking programs, and meaningful interactions with artists and the creative process. The exhibitions in the museum change twice yearly and include in-house curated exhibitions by mainly California artists, works from their permanent collection, and traveling exhibitions by internationally known artists. Since 1988, the museum has hosted the nationally recognized and prestigious Distinguished Woman Artist exhibition, which has honored such luminaries as Ruth Asawa, Claire Falkenstein, Amalia Mesa-Bains, Viola Frey, and Hung Liu. Facility rentals and group rates are available for ten or more, by reservation only.
