Forestiere Underground Gardens is a family-owned and operated business for three generations and counting. The gardens have an underground area of 25 feet and extend over 10 acres. Forestiere Underground Gardens experiences underground temperature differences between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius. The garden has rare varieties, such as table grapes, kumquat, quince, loquat, jujube, carob, wine grapes, and dates, planted at Forestiere. Visitors can go on a one-hour guided walking tour through the development of Baldassare Forestiere. You can see the hand-constructed network of underground spaces, courtyards, and corridors reminiscent of the old catacombs. The gardens afford free admission for children four and under.
