FANTASTIC CAVERNS REVIEWS
Awesome experience for the family. Worth the stop. Had to wait a little after buying the tickets but the visitor’s center has a large gift shop, antiques and other historical artifacts from the caves past on display to entertain you for a bit. The tour is a little over an hour. The tour isn’t rushed. The propane powered Jeep takes stops along its route in the cave to let the tour guide share great insight into the caves history and features. Watch your head as in some parts of the cave you will have to duck. The cave truly is fantastic!
I love anything outdoors, and visiting Caverns is one of those places I must visit. This was the first time I visited a Cavern that drove into the Cavern in a trailer. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She did an awesome job at explaining and giving details at every point we made a stop. There's also a gift shop inside, and I found some amazing natural products like the ones you see in the photos. I've been collecting artisan soaps along the way. Most of the soaps I've purchased are from local family-owned stores. I have to say the smell and quality are amazing.
This is a fantastic venue to see. It is a one hour tour in a jeep pulled wagon of a cavern that was discovered in the late 1800's. ADA compliant, access ramps. Clean restrooms. The gift shop had some reasonable pricing. Great docents, who aren't rushed.

PYTHIAN CASTLE REVIEWS
This was our first visit to the Pythian Castle, we WILL be returning!! Our tour guide Todd was absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable and definitely let people come up with their own experiences while later telling us of his experiences. I loved it so much that I would seriously consider becoming a ghost tour guide every Saturday night even though I work 60 hours a week as a wound care nurse. Absolutely love this place, love the vibe, love the spirits, a definite MUST SEE for anyone and Todd is absolutely top notch!!
Such a neat place! I love the history of the place, and it's gorgeous. We did the ghost tour, and it was creepy, but good. I loved it and highly recommend checking it out.
Beautiful place, interesting history. Did the Ghost Tour- great guide, and lots of creepy spaces to explore. Didn't catch any evidence of ghosts...this time. Maybe next time!

HISTORY MUSEUM ON THE SQUARE REVIEWS
Great museum! It is in the middle of downtown so very walkable area and parking is not problematic. They have several exhibits and all of them are super informative. I especially liked the little games on the monitors and the time travel part in the trolley. It felt like we were in a Doctor Who episode! Also Route 66 exhibit is a must see. Very clean bathrooms as well. 10/10!
Love this little treasure trove of information on Springfield, its origin’s and its rich history. So many interactive exhibits for many audiences. I learned so much in a short time. Staff is helpful and friendly as well. A must see to understand what makes this town unique.
Very nice place. Well planned out. Easy navigating thru exhibits. Very informative. Lots of places to sit and relax and learn. Huge elevator.
