WONDERS OF WILDLIFE NATIONAL MUSEUM & AQUARIUM REVIEWS
This place was exceptional! I've been to other aquariums, but this one was the best! Clean, open, TONS to see! The touch tank with the stingrays was really fun! They had great volunteers in there helping the kids touch the stingrays and sharks and telling them the names. I wasn't sure about the taxidermy animals, but once you see it, and how educational it is, it was great! Like they're moments in time you're stepping into.
Outstanding and you just have to take your time to soak it all in, or you'll miss something! There's so much beauty and history all in one place for you to enjoy! Every room is loaded with more and more...... worth taking the day to explore and worth spending the money to explore! It's worthy of an additional visit incase we missed something the first time! You won't be disappointed! What an asset to the entire area!
The best summer activity! Both the aquarium and museum are well kept and worth the price. You won’t believe how much is packed into this place. Come prepared to walk a lot! There are hands on exhibits and live animals everywhere. You’ll want to set aside at least 4 hours to get through it all. Definitely recommend coming on a week day to encounter less people, too.

DICKERSON PARK ZOO REVIEWS
I went with my daughter's school for an honor roll field trip. It was so much fun and all the kids loved it. I'm pregnant so one thing I was really happy about was all the convenient bathrooms they had along the paths. Great food too, my daughter and I shared a huge pretzel with cheese before we had to move on to the next exhibit. The free roaming peacocks are really amazing to see in person.
We love Dickerson Park Zoo. The re-imagined children's waterplay area is a hit with our family. We've been going to this zoo for over 10 years and seen expanded exhibits, experienced community outreach, and attended education classes and birthday parties. We enjoy riding the train each time we visit. For our family, the yearly passes are a great investment, and connect to a network of zoos all over the USA, perfect for family vacations. We are extremely satisfied with Dickerson Park Zoo and will continue to support them.
Very nice zoo. Got to see several animals that were not at my hometown zoo, Riverbanks in SC. I love that most of the walking paths were shaded by foliage. Lion was active. Never been so close to an ostrich or otter. Great place to visit.

SPRINGFIELD BOTANICAL GARDENS REVIEWS
Nathaniel Greene, a place inside the city of Springfield, to go and see nature and get away from the hustle and bustle that surrounds the park. With every step I took, through the park, I found more and more wonderful beauty. It's a place of peace and calming, where we can all go to relax our minds, simply by walking at a slow pace and observing all its beauty.
This park has always been beautiful, but they've been working to make it even better recently. The addition of fountains, repair of pathways, and flowers that bloom with each season make it a wonderful place to spend some time outdoors.
What a great park to walk, ride a bike, have a picnic, and just be outdoors. Very spacious with plenty of parking (in the absence of planned events). The Japanese garden is a bonus, but only worth going during spring at the peak of cherry blossoms.
