Love coming to the park or walking through the square. There’s usually live music or some entertainment and it’s an easy place to find a drink and just enjoy being outdoors. Expect lots of tourists and foot traffic and you can eat at the restaurants right around the square but I’d recommend going a little further into the French quarter. Also, take the time to go inside the cathedral, and take all the pictures you can!
Surrounded by historic buildings and homes this place is a great place to relax. Nested between the famous bourbon st and the French market this place offers a great escape from the sensory overload that is New Orleans. This is a great place to relax and take some amazing photos. We sat on the grass and just enjoyed the beautiful weather before heading to the French market for lunch! Surrounded by local vendors, musicians and artists this place truly captures the essence and beauty of New Orleans.
Lovely area of a park with a sculpture and a fountain surrounded by some beautiful structures forming a square. There are plenty of shades and searing for resting. Spots for performance and gathering as needed. In the center of French Quartar as an addition of beauty to the neighborhood.
