AUDUBON PARK GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

I love this course! Played it on a rainy day and the drainage I felt was impressive. Tee boxes and greens were dry, greens rolled excellently, fairways were wet in some spots but considering the rain, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was awesome, and the site is spectacular. Just a pretty part of the world and to be fortunate enough to walk it was a blessing. It's got some challenging holes, lots of bunkers protecting the greens, and the longer holes were very challenging. The 18th par 5 was my favorite hole. Would love to go back on a nicer day.

The course is undergoing renovations and most of the holes have temporary tees, but it’s otherwise a beautiful short course and very picturesque. Bring balls as the grass surrounding the fairways and greens is deceptively thick and you can easily lose balls that you saw land safely. While the course layout and length is perfect for walkers, you may want to think twice. I went out at 7AM in June and was drenched by the fourth hole. So save the walking for cooler months.

Fun par 62. Par 3's are the hardest holes in golf. Here there are 12 of them for your golfing pleasure. The greens were a little slow but rolled true. The fairways and tee boxes were all good. Pleasant staff. Try it you'll like it.

BAYOU OAKS AT CITY PARK REVIEWS

This was my first visit to Bayou Oaks at City Park in NOLA since before Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I found it extraordinary, amazingly in great shape for a public golf course. Manicured meticulously and aesthetically pleasing which enhances your ability to play better. It is obvious that the staff takes pride in keeping it in such great shape. It was difficult to find fault from the club house, driving range with track man, tees, fairways, greens and hazards. It was such an enjoyable experience playing there again. Highly recommended.

Great public course right inside the city limits with affordable pricing and nice facilities. The GM Ed and his staff do a lot of community services and outreach especially with the Veterans and the disabled. Special thanks to Ed and Stuart for all you do for The PGA HOPE program for veterans, makes a genuine difference for so many of us . Beautiful, well kept scenery all around, great place to spend some time and relax.

A mix of links and parkland style. Winds were pretty stiff, 20-30 mph. Tight fairways and run up areas allow for low shots. Green's in good shape, and pretty fast.

ENGLISH TURN GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB REVIEWS

I played here mid March. I really enjoyed playing this course. Course was in great shape. Lots of water on this course mostly up the left side. So playing a fade works really well here. There is no bev cart on Thursday and the turn grill doesn’t open to 11. So that stinks. And the guy at the bar was not very friendly. Overall great time and I would definitely play here again.

Visiting from out of town and heard this was a must play course. Course conditions were great (a few greens had a few rough spots but). Beautiful course. Greens were challenging (smaller). James (one of the starters) was great in describing the history, layout, etc. Staff were very friendly and treated us as a member.

Beautiful course. Friendly staff James the starter and guys in pro shop. Played with Phil and A.J. a couple of members who were really helpful in navigating the course. Apparently greens are only a month old but they rolled great.
