Woldenberg Park has over 16 acres of relaxing green space stretching between the Mississippi River and the historic French Quarter. It has plenty of grass for ample benches, and picnicking make perfect scenes for a quick refreshment after a jaunt around the French Quarter. There are intimate and smaller concerts at the outdoor amphitheater throughout every year. Woldenberg Park offers a popular venue for festivals, weddings, school group performances, and private events. The park provides free April festival features the best New Orleans musical performers and is an excellent pre-cursor to jazz fest. Free admission and handicap access are available.

Louis Armstrong Park is the best public park in New Orleans with over 32-acres of parkland. The park has a beautiful large pond with a bridge and the perfect place to take pictures. The park provides sculptures, duck ponds, and lots of open spaces for relaxing. Louis Armstrong Park has a concert hall, fountains, aqueducts, bridges, ponds, multiple footpaths, and majestic trees.
