Great little museum in a historic building dating back to the Spanish rule of the city. The exhibits they had were very interesting and covered both history and art. I enjoyed the information and artifacts they had on the Battle of New Orleans and that time period and I also enjoyed getting some nice views of the plaza even if the windows are a bit dirty and hard to look out of.
So much interesting New Orleans historical facts and war of 1812/battle of New Orleans information! Lots of great artifacts on display. The first floor is a little bit of everything that you come to New Orleans for. Architecture, food, jazz, sports, entertainment, Mardi Gras. Beautiful museum to take a look at. The history of the building itself is interesting to learn about!
This was a really fun museum for a history lover like myself. The exhibits were detailed and well laid out. Admission to all 4 museums in the area meant discounts for each and they were all already very reasonably priced.
