'NOLA School of Music' is the place to be to learn a new instrument and offers 30 minutes and 60-minute private lessons for learners of all ages, from 4 to adult. NOLA was owned by Nick Bierman & Katie Lott. Their instructors are all classically trained with degrees in music, and they're experienced professional performers with a passion for teaching. They cater to their curriculum to fit each student's individual musical tastes & learning method. Their goal is to make learning music fun and exciting, so their teachers always imagine creative ways to keep their pupils inspired. NOLA has no limit to the number of make-up lessons a student may schedule. The music school is conveniently placed in the Mid-City area of New Orleans, near the junction of Bienville Street & Carrollton Avenue.

'Spreading the Music' is a local uptown New Orleans community music school, and it is open to all ages (from 5-years old to adults) and skill levels in all instruments, schedules, genres & learning styles. It has over 104 happy and performing students. The music school provides extensive individualized lesson planning catered to every student. Here, each learner is surrounded by passionate, creative, attentive & talented educators who deeply know the value of keeping the music alive in all capacities. The school has five fully furnished classrooms, one of which is home to the renounced Bubble Bath Records. Studio rental is available for rehearsals, practicing, and innovative music classes. Each room comes completely equipped with an upright piano, speakers, music stands, chairs, drum kits & much more. Their scheduling is flexible and is created around your daily routine. Morning, afternoon, and evening time slots are also available.

The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music is the centerpiece of Musicians' Village, which is a 17,000 square feet facility that serves as performance, education & community venue. It includes a 170-seat concert hall, recording studios and education facilities for individual/group instruction, and a meeting place for the community. Ellis Marsalis Center provides a safe, positive atmosphere where underserved kids and youth grow musically, academically & socially. They also give strategic support and tools to Village musicians that can improve their professional growth and offer chances for musicians throughout the town of New Orleans to play & record. Studio and hall rentals are available. As a community hub, they offer a variety of programs that are available to all, including concert series, community events, volunteer opportunities, space for family gatherings & celebrations. The center also gives dance classes for children and teenagers in Ballet & Modern Dance.
