THE NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MUSEUM REVIEWS
What an incredible experience. Always wanted to go but a friend who just went highly recommended it. We went as a family of four and got to meet an actual world or to Gunner. Being able to talk to him and listen to the stories was worth the visit by itself. One of the most interactive museums I've ever been to including the 4D theater. I highly recommend that if you are on the fence and interested in the history you must go! Be prepared to spend a minimal of 2 to 3 hours to experience everything at the museum.
This museum is easily on of the best museums I've ever visited. Each room is vibrantly detailed that I feel like I'm a part of the action. There's a wonderful balance between historical footage, and text panels. You're immersed from the start because you're given a "dog tag" ID where you can collect digital artifacts and follow a real soldier along their historical path. It's very rare for a museum to get you this engaged. Even if you didn't care about WWII when you entered, you'll leave appreciating it so much when you exit.
Nice museum. A lot of expositions. Some renovation was going on while we were there (late July 2022) but did not really affect other expos. Good place to visit to remind what happened and learn new facts. If you are in New Orleans area definitely worth a visit. Wasn’t too crowded. We even saw 4D movie. Also recommend.

AUDUBON ZOO REVIEWS
We had a great time here! So much to see. Spent the day here right after we landed before we were able to check into our rental home. It was a cooler day so we just went and walked around. Loved the elephants and giraffes the best, but explored around 95% of the zoo. Friendly staff. We ate lunch there and I cannot remember the name of the restaurant, but it was good. Recommend taking a day and going. Kids would enjoy. Hopefully we can go back towards Halloween. I hear they have a “Boo at the Zoo” event. I think that sounds like it would be exciting to attend. Highly recommended.
We get a membership every year. It's definitely worth it if you live close and want to go often. You also get discounts with it in the gift shops and cafes. Parking is free. My kiddos live for the zoo. I love how they improve it pretty often. They have people with educational stuff out as well. The swamp cafe has been my favorite since childhood. Loved the new wall hands on additions to the snake exhibit ! The new bird area is amazing!
Amazing zoo! Go right when it opens to see all the animals active! We have seen a lot of zoos and am so glad that we added this onto the trip. Our favorite was the orangutan babies!!!! Be aware that there is only food at the mail cafe. Just pack a lunch and water and you are fine.

AUDUBON AQUARIUM OF THE AMERICAS REVIEWS
Nice aquarium. Not very large. It can be done in less than an hour if you're not careful. But there are some very neat enclosures. It does a great job of showing local ecosystems and aquatic species. Things you probably won't find at many other aquariums. Very well designed in that you won't have to wonder if you saw everything. Pretty much just follows a path over two levels and as you walk through there's nothing you'll struggle to see.
Buying tickets online is definitely cheaper by line $5!! Plus you don’t have to wait in line. They offer to take you a photo at the entrance. It was pretty crowded but we looked through all the exhibits and it’s was so interesting. When looking at the stingrays the young man was so kind and helpful.
This is a very nice Aquarium in the heart of NOLA. The kids loved the penguins and the albino alligator. They are doing some remodeling on some exhibits but the place was worth spending the afternoon. We had alot of family fun checking everything out.
