Saying well established would be an understatement considering they’ve been in business since 1933 as posted on the outside if the building. After many failed attempts trying to get a lost key cut for a 1982 Toyota Celica Supra Finally Elgin Key & Lock had the experience and tools necessary to cut a key from a code. They are conveniently located in downtown Elgin behind the Police Station. I was very pleased with the service and the price was very reasonable!

I came here because I lost my key fob to my Nissan pathfinder and wanted to have two sets of keys. Vince was super nice, fast and professional and was very fair on cost. Awsome knowledgeable people. Vince had a real bad key to work with for my son's ignition and door locks. He is amazing. He made the keys we needed and then fine tuned them by hand. A true master at his trade. Definitely my go to place for great quality work.
