I went to Kathleen years ago, with my husband at the time. I was in a tumultuous relationship so I’d been to other therapists before. Kathleen is sharp, insightful, and friendly. She isn’t pushy, but kindly guides you to better understand your relationship. In my case, I came to understand I was in a codependent relationship with someone who could never meet my needs. We were vastly incompatible. I ended up moving out and filing for divorce, and our last session with Kathleen helped with closure. I’m remarried now, and the difference between my last relationship and this one is night and day. Kathleen’s insights helped me to reflect on myself and what about me had led me to choose my previous partner. These realizations led me to turn down people I might have otherwise given second and third chances to, and helped me to find my husband (the sweetest cinnamon roll of a man!).
