I had a baby in Tender Beginnings and it was such a great experience. I got such great care throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I definitely recommend them for your next home birth. They are knowledgeable and thorough so you can have a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth.

I have had all 3 of my births with Tender Beginnings and I wouldn't choose to go with anyone else! Mary Anne and her team are amazing and have always supported me and my family in a way that is both personal and professional.

Mary Anne & team are awesome!! Have had 3 home births with Tender Beginnings—they’re basically family now. Mary Anne’s knowledge & experience were comforting, all while giving us autonomous births. Grateful.

I truly cannot say enough good things about the Vanderbilt Birth Center. From my very first prenatal appointment to my dream labor and delivery, the care I received far exceeded every expectation. The midwives lead with such compassion and gentleness. At every visit, I felt heard, supported, and never rushed. Every one of my wishes was honored, and my birth was everything I hoped it would be. I am endlessly grateful for this place and for how special they made my first pregnancy experience.

I have been nothing but impressed with the birth center communication that I've received over the last year from several staff members. Today though, I went for my first in-person visit and the care was thorough and compassionate.

Amazing water birth experience the team was so kind, perfectly supportive and post birth care was truly wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer as my midwife even though my home birth ended up being a hospital transfer at 39 weeks due to gestational hypertension - I am extremely thankful due to her experience and knowledge that she had us go in to be evaluated which ultimately led us to having a our beautiful son safe and healthy. I couldn’t ask for more than that. Throughout my pregnancy, Jennifer provided us with extremely personal care and I loved the experience of having in home visits that could easily last an hour vs the 5min visits with my OB who never even remembered my name. With this being my first pregnancy I’m so thankful that I felt cared for. Jennifer’s team of women were also wonderful (Sharon, our doula, was amazing) and I couldn’t recommend them more.

I had a wonderful experience with Vines midwifery. This was my fifth baby and fourth home birth. Jennifer was very supportive and knowledgeable. I have a history of fast labors and she and her team were quick to in getting to me and very supportive in labor.

Jennifer was very thorough in her questioning and care when she came to my house for each appointment—a huge upgrade from hospital care where you are just a number. The day of the birth went as great as a birth can go! She respects your wishes as far as privacy goes and thinks quickly in stressful situations. She very quickly got fluid off my baby’s lungs and kept us from being rushed to the hospital. Her assistant and doula are fabulous and each personality complements the other. Lindsey is very level-headed and respectful of your wishes, and Tyresa will get you to progress in labor much faster. Would highly recommend a home birth with this team.
