2026 Update: Holocaust Museum Houston is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust and the rest of the 6 million Jews and other innocent victims are honoring the survivors' legacy. The Museum is more than doubling in size, which spans 57,000 square feet, and it ranks as the nation's fourth-largest Holocaust museum. The Museum is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with a new 3-story structure houses a welcome center, 4 permanent galleries, a research library, a café, 2 changing exhibition galleries, classrooms, a 200-seat indoor theater, and a 175-seat outdoor amphitheater. Holocaust Museum Houston's some objects were moved to protect the museum during construction, including the rescue boat "Hanne Frank" and a railcar.
