“2026 Update: The Tech Interactive is formerly known as The Tech Museum of Innovation. The museum was founded by two Stanford graduates, William Hewlett and David Packard. The Tech Interactive is a world-class science and technology center that receives more than 250,000 visitors a year. The place welcomes visitors and encourages them to discover 130,000 square feet of hands-on activities, exploratory labs, design challenges, and other STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) education resources. The Tech Interactive has three floors, and on the lower level, there is a complex multi-story sculpture that features an artwork that portrays the relationships among art, technology, and natural resources of the earth. The Tech Interactive also features an IMAX Dome Theater that has the first dome laser projector in the world and can accommodate up to 280 people.”
