It is a fantastic place with talented and expert teachers. I have attended this school for the past five years. I love the school and the way teachers engage with students. There is no more excellent place to learn music than Birmingham School Of Music. They have teachers who specialize in almost all musical instruments. The school matches the teacher and teaching strategies with the learners' needs. The teachers work around your schedule to make it easier to attend the lessons. The fee structure is reasonable and worth it—a highly recommended place for music lovers.

My daughter has been attending BSoM for several years now and absolutely loves her classes! Now, even as a sophomore in high school, she is disappointed should she have to miss. She enjoys her teachers and feels they give her great instruction. They foster a love for learning music that is great to see. They help her develop skills at a pace she is comfortable with, yet challenged by. Russ, the owner, and his staff are communicative, professional, kind and always looking for new ways to engage and encourage students. I highly recommend BSoM for various music lessons. It has been a wonderful investment for our family.

My daughter is taking voice and piano lessons at BSOM since Kindergarten. I'm happy that the school has experienced teachers and they bring out the best of your kids. Monthly showcases are a great opportunity to show their talents and to boost their confidence. Very organized place & highly recommend to anyone.

STICKANDSTRUM ACADEMY REVIEWS

Shauna and Shane are fantastic! They have worked with my daughter for two years now. She has graduated from ukulele to guitar. It has been fabulous to watch my daughter grow musically. Her lessons have boosted her confidence and allowed her to express herself artisically. She enjoys her one on one lessons, monthly jam sessions, and the Rock Band Camp during the summer.

Shane is a patient and focused instructor. He's laid back and cool and let's the kids learn what interests them. My daughter has come a really long way in a short year learning guitar! Convenient location, snacks for on the go after school available! Lots of extra opportunities to play outside of class and even be in a band! We are happy here and always recommend them to friends.

Two of my daughters and I have taken lessons at Stick & Strum. Shane and his staff are excellent teachers. Their goal is to get their students playing songs as quickly as possible. I'm very pleased with the progress my daughters and I have made while under their instruction. Plus, the studio has a laid-back and fun atmosphere.

MASON MUSIC REVIEWS

My kids have taken piano lessons at Mason Music for several years and we have been very happy! All of their teachers are outstanding, and the kids have learned a lot. We also love the recital opportunities they offer, as well as the opportunity to support their Mason Music Foundation.

I decided to learn to play acoustic guitar as a hobby and I wanted to have instruction and accountability. I chose Mason Music because they offer month to month lesson plans and kind and knowledgeable instructors. They took the time to do a phone interview to match me with my instructor based on certain criteria. I would recommend Mason Music to anyone who has interest in learning a new musical skill.

Everyone is very professional and my daughter has grown more in a few months at Mason Music than she did in a year with a prior teacher. We are very pleased and highly recommend for anyone interested in lessons.
