The park looks like a great place to roller blade, walk or run. Already see some damage to the brick benches which are awesome! I was glad to see the green space was well maintained. As we walked through I couldn't help but think about what a pitcher of moss slime could design on the brick benches. There is nothing like lying down on a moss bed that is an inch thick.

We visited the park yesterday afternoon after first visiting the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, all of which are on the same block. The park has many beautiful statues from the era depicted at the museum - and be sure you walk all around the exterior, because we almost missed a few of the statues.
