Dr. Thomas S. Loftus received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and finished his residency in neurological surgery at the University of Missouri. He specializes in treating minimally invasive and endoscopic neurosurgery and has a special interest in complex spine surgeries. Dr. Loftus has taught courses that addressing minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques at numerous professional conferences and assists with new product development for several biomedical companies. Loftus also effectively offers a full range of surgical treatments for disorders of the spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve. He pride for being one of the few surgeons around the country who performs true minimally invasive spine fusions, and he is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Douglas J. Fox is a board-certified, a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon who has earned his medical degree at Washington University in 1999, and remained at Washington University for his residency training in neurosurgery and graduated in 2005. He also completed two additional years of training with fellowships in cerebrovascular surgery with Robert Spetzler, M.D., and complex spinal surgery with Volker K Sonntag, M.D. at the Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Fox has a special interest in surgically handling complex spinal conditions with minimally invasive techniques and innovative technologies. He is currently co-lead in an NIH-RO1 grant for the development of non-invasive brain mapping technology and committed in the development of new technologies in laser-guided functional mapping of the brain surface and use of augmented reality systems with robotics for brain and spinal navigation. Dr. Daniel Peterson completed medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and has achieved his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in 1994 and has been in private practice in Austin since that time. Dr. Peterson is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served as chief of staff at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas Brackenridge, and he deeply involved in the quality improvement process.
