PETER BASTA, MD, FAANS - MIDWEST NEUROSURGERY ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
Start to finish to include the recovery, my 3 level neck fusion was an absolute success. Dr. Basta and his entire team and staff were very good to me. Managed all my expectations. This is the 2nd Surgery in a year on different areas of my back, both have been an amazing transformation from intense DAILY pain to absolutly none. Dr Basta is a very gifted Surgeon. Thank you so so very much Dr. Basta!
This surgeon has been voted best Neurosurgeon many times over the past years for a reason . He is simply the best . I was totally pain free in 5 weeks . Amazing . I'm also told that during my surgery at no time did his fingers leave his hands . Sorry , an old Dad joke from my Dad . But he was a Chiropractor for 60 years. So that explains a lot . Thanks again for a great job ..
Staff was super friendly even right off the bat early morning which was appreciated! Staff helped me with paper work and got me in quick! Nurse practitioner and the doctor was super helpful and explained everything so I could understand with ease!!

JONATHAN D. CHILTON, MD - MIDWEST NEUROSURGERY ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
I absolutely love Dr. Chilton and my family thinks the world of him too. I was on the brink of death, catching MRSA , from a stimulator that told my brain that I wasn't having any pain. The surgery was done at a out patient clinic. My body rejected it and on the 7th day wires were removed, the second one causing a huge bump too, that was full of infection. The infection worsened, with untalorable pain. Then near death, Dr. Chilton saved my life and also I am blessed to be walking.
When I was diagnosed with a tumor my primary care Doc said I had to go to Dr Chilton--he was the best. Every medical professional I met for the next month nodded approvingly when I said Dr. Chilton would be doing my surgery. All hospital nurses described him as a "dear man." My tumor was removed successfully and professionally. Even the head scar is nearly invisible after a few months. I have only had one brain surgery but this was a FAR better experience than I expected. Even his billing people are kind and easy to work with. My son's two stitches on the knee were FAR more complicated than my brain surgery with Doctor Chilton!
Dr. Chilton is the best! He has taken care of me and my recurrent meningiomas for thirteen years and has done a superb job. I have felt entirely confident in his care.

DR. JAYSON A. NEIL, MD FAANS - MIDWEST NEUROSURGERY ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
Our very first encounter with Dr Neil was in the hospital ER on a Saturday after my husband was in a terrible car accident. He took the time to come visit with us in person to explain their findings from the X-rays (in terms we could understand), what he recommended, answered all of our questions, and he even stated we could get a second opinion from someone else if we wanted, but that he highly recommended having the surgery done. He was really awesome and had a fantastic bedside manner!! We did our research and discovered from numerous reviews and conversations with other people just how great Dr Neil really was, so we decided to go ahead with the surgery. The surgery went well, and as we expected, Dr Neil did an amazing job and we couldn't be more thankful for answered prayers and an extremely skilled surgeon. His entire staff, as well as the nursing staff at the Research Hospital Surgical Dept, were so kind, patient, caring, efficient, and understanding...we just can't say enough nice things about all of them. We feel very blessed and thankful that God placed these people in our lives during a very scary and difficult time for us. Dr Neil and his staff are the BEST and we would highly recommend them to anyone!!
He listened to me and my concerns, explained everything in a way I could understand and then guided me through my decisions answering any questions I had.
Dr. Neil was very knowledgeable about my health issue and it was evident he had given a lot of thought to possible solutions. He talked with me in a very caring manner and was very thorough in his explanations of my surgery and what I could expect. I have the upmost confidence in him.
