“Dr. Ines Sanchez-Rivera earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1993. She then completed her internal medicine residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in 1996. Dr. Sanchez-Rivera later underwent a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio in 1999. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and an American Society of Clinical Oncology member. Dr. Sanchez-Rivera's cancer treatment approach combines a multi-disciplinary and multi-modality approach to provide exceptional treatment and care to cancer patients. She actively participates in cancer awareness education and activities in the community and has also conducted research activities as a principal investigator for various studies and clinical trials. Dr. Ines Sanchez-Rivera currently practices at Texas Oncology-El Paso Cancer Treatment Center Gateway.”
