“Dr. Brad Carofino is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Brad completed an advanced fellowship training in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery at The University of Washington and a Hand Surgery Fellowship at The Mayo Clinic. Dr. Brad is one of a few fellowship-trained shoulder surgeons in Virginia. He is among a small number of orthopedic surgeons in the country with dual fellowship training in shoulder and hand surgery. Dr. Brad is actively involved in developing new techniques for minimally invasive shoulder replacement surgery and rotator cuff treatment. He currently performs over 100 shoulder replacements per year, and he is among the top 5% of orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Brad is also highly skilled in minimally invasive shoulder surgeries and offers professionally guided accelerated rehabilitation programs.
