My insurance provider completely dropped the ball on my PT, and not the big fun bouncy PT balls. I got a recommendation from a physician friend to try Therapydia on Burnside. Joe was fantastic. I wasn't sure how much I would get out of PT but he gave me great exercises that really improved and sped up my foot and ankle recovery. Most importantly, he gave me a sense of how much I could push it at each stage of recovery. I had so much more confidence going through the process and really improved quickly. Highly recommend.

The staff has been excellent! Very warm, inviting, and caring about their patients. Joe takes his time and doesn't believe in shortcuts or trying to rush your care. The focus is to get better. I would highly recommend this place for your PT needs.

My primary care doc referred me to Rachel because I was experiencing dizziness on lying down and getting up. My experience with her has been excellent in all respects. Initially, she asked background questions and an examination to confirm that her physical therapy was appropriate for my condition, which is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. She then assisted me in performing some repositioning procedures which resolved the problem. She took the time to explain what BPPV is and how the therapy will help. Not unexpectedly, the symptoms have returned from time to time, and I have received further treatment from her that has resolved the symptoms at least for a time. She has suggested some other measures that may also help. Rachel is professional, friendly, prompt, focused, thorough, and solicitous. She has my strongest recommendation.

I visited Rachel at MechanoTherapy following bike crash with multiple soft tissue and skeletal challenges and an enthusiastic referral. Rachel quickly identified the specific problems and created a program for movement and strengthening which produced immediate and lasting improvement. And during this work, she independently has burst a number of my muscle maintenance and strengthening assumptions to the point that my workouts now are far more productive. And all with fewer visits than required for prior PT treatments of less benefit. Rachel epitomizes the reasons we need and benefit from physical therapy.

Over the past two years I have seen Rachel on and off for running related hip/ankle injuries and shoulder injuries. Rachel is extremely thorough, patient, professional, and helpful. She is wonderful at explaining why I am having pain and mobility problems and what I need to do to heal.
