3 Best Pharmacies in Portland, OR

Recently, I had a situation at Brooklyn Pharmacy, where I was treated with a surprising amount of understanding. Because of this, it caused me to go back in time and look at a post that I made maybe seven years ago only to see that it had disappeared so I want to repost to thank the employees at Brooklyn pharmacy for there hard work and customer service. I can’t remember how long ago it was when I started going to Brooklyn. I think Kelly was just starting out. I believe as a pharmacist and her dad was running the business. I believe his name was Mike, but I’m not sure but one thing I am sure of Is that Kelly‘s dad was somebody who everybody should aspire to be Even though I barely knew him. You just felt it and you knew that he was a good person, and then Pat came along, and took over the business as only a very few people could. it’s surprising how small acts can mean so much. as I stated in the post previously, if I was to ask a fraction of customer service that I receive at Brooklyn, they would call security, taser me, and drag me in the back and throw me in the dumpster only to wake up in a landfill. I thank the people of Brooklyn Pharmacy for all they do.

Brooklyn Pharmacy is truly the best. They're always on top of it and go above and beyond to help their patients. They are extremely communicative, transparent, efficient, and knowledgeable, and everyone who I have interacted with there has been so kind and helpful. I had to leave a review because I have never had a better experience with a pharmacy. They have come through for me more than once when I was in a pinch because other, larger pharmacies weren't able to fill a medication or didn't communicate with me in a timely manner and I had to scramble to get my medication on time. It's clear that they genuinely care about their patients and are also just really good at what they do.

The way a pharmacy should be! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful pharmacist and staff who remembered me on my second visit. Now let's pass State House Bill 3212 to make sure such community pharmacies can continue to care for patients.

I am a physician and have been filling prescriptions for myself and my family members for many years, at many different pharmacies, and I have decided that Fairley's is THE BEST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER USED! The reasons include the fact that it's locally owned, the owner is present and working at the pharmacy himself, and the staff are actually personable and helpful. This results in a response different than the usual "sorry we can't do that" which I am used to from large chain pharmacies. For example, I went recently to ask if my wife could get more than one refill at a time for her migraine medication (the standard refill is only 9 pills for some reason?), and not only did they say "yes" (I've asked this in the past at Rite Aid and Fred Meyer, and have always been told "no" automatically), but then they dispensed the extra refills on the spot for me while I waited -- AND at a good price! Fairley's will definitely be my pharmacy in NE Portland from now on.

This is my favorite pharmacy. They're really kind, very helpful, and they treat you like a human being and not a number or a dollar sign. They've helped me multiple times with confusing insurance situations and offered me tangible solutions when I started panicking because my prescription was canceled by a doctor on my old insurance plan. I don't even use the free delivery because I love visiting their historic setting! Reminds me of getting ice cream with my nana in The Berkshires. I hope these guys stick around because I definitely don't want to switch to anyone else!

Great locally owned pharmacy. I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for years, and have always had great service. Much better than the big national chain pharmacies in town.
