3 Best Pizza Places in Cleveland, OH

Fabulous pizza! We've had great pies in many places and the pizza here is easily amongst the best. Ordering online was simple. The location is lovely and the ambiance fits the vibe. The food was ready promptly and it looked, smelled, and tasted phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the area.

This place was a great little place to eat. The garlic knots were absolutely delicious. We had the king pizza, chicken barbecue pizza, and the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and they were all really good. The service was super fast and a great atmosphere.

Gordon square GEM !!! No joke pizza with classics to choose from but also more unique choices for the more adventurous. Nice starter options like salads and meat/cheese plates. Swanky bar. Cool art. The decor in one of the dining rooms seems almost like churchy/ religious. Was interesting. Walked in on a Tuesday night and the place was jam packed and saw familiar faces! Always a great sign. Would go back any time.

The hype is real - Il Rione has one of the best, if not THE best, pizzas in the city! Everything about the pizza was perfect: the NY-style crust was thin and chewy and super flavorful, the toppings were fresh and of the highest quality (the Calabrian chilies in particular were fire), and the ratio of cheese to sauce to bread was spot on. The salads were also pleasantly refreshing... and for what it's worth the Guinness pour was surprisingly respectable. To be fair, the menu was a bit limited compared to other pizzerias, but I'd rather have fewer options executed perfectly than a laundry list of mediocre dishes any day. The dining space was charming in a rustic way, but it got very crowded very quickly - we arrived just after opening on a weekend and were lucky to get a table. Service was great and, especially given the size of the crowd, very prompt; the kitchen was slinging pizzas like nobody's business. Definitely a spot worth coming back.

I always look forward to going to this restaurant and it has been my favorite pizza in Cleveland. However, on a recent visit I was sorely disappointed. The crust was burned across the entire pizza bottom. It was like eating cardboard with wonderful toppings. I was sitting near the oven where I could see other pizzas being removed and they were all being burned along the outer crust. I would hope management reads this review and takes an interest in addressing this issue.
