3 Best Preschools in Sunnyvale, CA

This is an excellent preschool! Manijeh, who runs the school, is an expert at early childhood education. My son was 2 years when he started. This being his first time being in school, he came out of his shell very quickly and became independent within a month or so. The community she has built is very close-knit and the quality of teachers that she hires is exceptional. Personal attention towards every student is an area where Right Start shines. Students are taught values such as empathy, assist with learning, mentorship, emotional support and general social skills. I saw this in action when my son started. Not only the teachers, but students also helped with his transition. Being a first time parent, I have personally learnt a lot from Manijeh about how to teach kids and help them develop in all aspects. We are still in touch and Manijeh gives excellent inputs about toddler development. We moved a little farther from the school and the daily commute is a lot for us to continue here. Had we been closer, we would definitely continue with Right Start. To this day, Teacher Manijeh is his favorite teacher and mine too! Highly recommended.

Right Start Preschool is a family preschool having a clean and safe environment. There are one indoor classroom and one outdoor classroom in the back yard. In sunny days, children always play at the backyard with sand&ball pit, seesaw, kitchen playsets, slides and tricycles. They also do gardening and water playing. My child likes this outdoor play environment because he likes jumping, running and riding. Teachers are nice and patient. The student teacher ratio is very low. There are always 3 teachers here taking care of 10-12 children. Teachers like to praise and show appreciation to children if the children make a good choice in their behaviors. My child has a big improvement in his social skills. It's a pleasant and meaningful experience for our family to bond with Right Start Preschool. We'd like to recommend.

I send both my kids (2 and 4) to this preschool. We sent our older kid here first, and he enjoyed it so much that we decided to send our younger one here too. The student to teacher ratio is amazing, and they have a great outdoor classroom which is really well suited to young children. Something about being outside most of the time seems more suitable for them than being inside for many hours every day.

Our son started here at 9 months and I couldn't imagine a better place for him to be. The infant room teachers are incredible with managing bottles, solids, pictures to send home, artwork, etc. And he had so much fun playing outside in the toddler room. The staff is great and communication is top notch. In each classroom our son bonded with one of the teachers and really felt comfort in being here. We left because we are moving, but EH set a high bar and we are really sad to have to leave. I would highly recommend for any age.

it's in a beautiful suburban Sunnyvale neighborhood adjacent to Serra park which is gorgeous, full of redwood trees, open space, and parks. They have different rooms for all the various age groups and the kids move up once they reach critical milestones. All the teachers are phenomenal. The greenery in the Dolphin room for 2-4-year-olds is beautiful. They have a visiting guitarist "Mr. Clifford" visit weekly and play for all the different rooms.

This is a wonderful daycare. I highly recommend it!
