As first time home buyers my wife and I found the inspection and conversation had with Aaron and Jeff of Golden Star to be extremely helpful and reassuring as we navigate the process. The inspection seemed very thorough and the post inspection report was very comprehensive with many pictures included. Buying an older home has some pitfalls and having a quality inspection is crucial. I learned so much about the house from Golden Star and feel much more informed as we make our final decision. I’ll also say that the crew was top notch and very personable and professional. They were training another inspector and I felt that added another layer of knowledge to the process. I would recommend Golden Star to anyone needing a home inspection. Service like what they provide is a lost art and it’s comforting to know it can still be found.

Jeff was very knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He was able to answer all of my questions about the house I planned on buying without hesitation from attic to basement. I learned more about my own potential property in an hour than I ever expected. 10/10 would use him again.

I've used a half dozen inspectors over the years buying homes and typically I end up feeling like it was a waste of money because the inspectors don't focus on things that matter and build their reports with fluff. Or they miss simple things that even a home owner can see isn't right. Joe was very thorough and focused on the things that matter. He was very knowledgeable and explained why the issues mattered and what it would take to possibly correct. I would recommend him to anyone looking to invest in a property. I finally feel like I got my money's worth! Gold Star will be my go to for buying homes in North Idaho from now on!!!
