MARGARET EAGAN SULLIVAN PARK REVIEWS
This play park is great for families. There is plenty of playground equipment for the kids and hiking trails. Access to the coastal hiking trail is right close by. There is a great sign post that shows how many bicyclists have used the path by day, month, and year. There is also a large pond with geese and ducks. Photographers are frequently set up on the banks taking photos of the wildlife and scenery. This is a great place to visit for a relaxing afternoon in Anchorage.
Variety here. Near downtown with free parking; if you don’t mind a short run. Lake for kayaking/fishing and children’s park. Then a good entry point to Tony Knowles coastal trail if you’d like a long run/stroll or bike ride.
Shout out to Anchorage park and rec for keeping this up and running. Great way to spend a cold weekend outdoors Playground: City maintained ice rink

CUDDY FAMILY MIDTOWN PARK REVIEWS
Centrally located in midtown, this is a great park right next to the Public Library. It's a nice spot to bring your kids to play on the playground, take a stroll around the spacious grounds, hold an event in the stadium, play sports in the field, admire the birds in the pond, or go big and hold a hug event in the entire park! The possibilities are endless.
Over the summer i parked my truck here and camped overnight. It was very quiet and the other people i met while here were very respectful and courteous. Me and my so willrecommend this park to others in the future.
Great place to take a walk with a nice paved track that circles a bird park. Hundreds of geese, ducks, seagulls, grebes, and magpies. It also has a full playground on the north end with out houses. Grassy area that is used to fly kites, practice yoga, and leashed dogs are welcome.

VALLEY OF THE MOON PARK REVIEWS
Valley of the moon park is a great destination in the Anchorage area. Here’s what I loved about it. The playground structures offered a variety of different types of play for children. Not only that, but they are slightly spread out to eliminate crowding. In addition to the structures, the park provides hosts a large field, a walking trail that connects to the Chester creek trail, and the sweet sounds of Chester creek babbling by. Unlike other parks in Anchorage, this park was devoid of vagrant squatting.
For such a small Park, it has an excellent dog park. There is a shelter for having a picnic lunch. There's even a groomed circular track for practicing cross country skiing... Great place to start off an inner city trail hike
This park has everything for everyone, kids park & dog park, cyclists, walkers, and hikers. The Chester Creek that separates people's backyard from the park is nice. I saw an educational sign on moose but didn't see any. I walked along the trail for 2.5 miles and went up a 125-step stairwell. I'd rent a bike the next time I visit Anchorage to ride here. Amazing, beautiful, and diverse city.
