The park has a new playground featuring a tube slide, two half-courts and one full-court, climbing structures, two tennis courts, and three hardball diamonds. The park is a friendly city-center park with a garden trellis and a walk-through sculpture fountain. The park is kept clean, and there's a trail where one can read different monuments with excellent designs. You can join yoga classes, and the park has a gym, restaurant, café, and area for wedding photoshoots. Norman B. Leventhal Park offers free entry and is a beautiful park where you can sit and relax in the heart of downtown Boston.

Leventhal Park was created through a public–private partnership initiative that replaced an ageing above-ground parking structure with a landscaped public park built above an underground garage.
