Great park. Walking trails, sliding hill in winter, public swimming pool in summer, plenty of picnic tables and benches around the pond. Playground. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room and trails to walk a dog. Picnic area: Nice picnic areas under the trees.
We love its so close to home and that its dog friendly! The trails in the woods were still pretty muddy so we walked around the pond a few times. We met a few people who were extremely friendly along the trail, seriously getting out and meeting people just made the experience that much better .. Plus we now have a tired puppy!
We love Richmond Park! We enjoy watching the ducks and geese there. Kids and adults fish in the pond. People walk their dogs. Everyone is friendly.
