CROAKER'S SPOT RESTAURANTS REVIEWS
Our server was Ya Ya and Journey was the floor manager. Outstanding service from both. Our entrees were the fried fish boat (whiting) and for me, fried catfish and shrimp. Excellent and the portions were huge. Sides were delicious—red potatoes and cheese grits. The cornbread is sweet—almost like a cake. Highly recommend.
Our server Ya Ya was the best. She served us with Excellence! The food was GREAT!!! It was our group of 8 first time there. The portions were huge and worth the price. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Woooo baby! Totally enjoyed my crab cake dinner. Had plenty to take home. Everything was seasoned to perfection. We all have dinner for tomorrow. The atmosphere was so inviting and the background music brought back memories! I'll be back.

THE BOATHOUSE AT ROCKETTS LANDING REVIEWS
Dinner at The Boathouse in Richmond, VA this evening was great. Lots of people doing boat ride parties from the docks behind the restaurant. It looks to be a great place for weddings, engagement parties, etc. and last night there were lots of groups enjoying the place. Beautiful views overlooking the James River with a sunset over the trees and the Richmond skyline. The food was great starting with the jalapeño cornbread and the spinach and artichoke dip. The service was fast and we were seated ahead of our reservation. Reservations are definitely recommended! And of course we elected an outside table. It was a little warm but the the views, the food….and the people watching….made it worth it! I had the shrimp and grits which were perfectly done and tasty! Additionally the salmon, shrimp tacos, salad, and fries were all great as well.
Great location, Great food, Great drinks, Great service. Came here with my girlfriend for a date night, and could not have been more pleased with the quality of the food and the ambience. Sam our server was amazing and made great recommendations.
We tried the Boathouse after getting referred by a friend and it was a great experience! The food and service were phenomenal! Highly recommend for a date night or for seafood lovers.

RAPPAHANNOCK RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Super fresh oysters. I love raw oysters so order them wherever they’re offered. They provided horseradish upon request because I prefer the clean taste and then might add a little lemon and horseradish. We also ordered the oysters with caviar. They were so tasty I forgot to take a picture of them. Best paella we’ve ever had, and we’ve been to Spain. We enjoyed the crispy rice in particular. Delicious and fresh whole fish. It was red snapper when we visited. It fell off the bones, and the flavor was superb. Great cocktails (Negroni and dirty martini). Excellent service. Even tho I didn’t specify outdoor seating in my reservation, they still accommodated it on such a lovely day. Host, waitress, and bartender were all fantastic. Walking distance from Dominion Energy Center (we went to a show at the theater beforehand). Definitely a repeat.
Well, where to start. Oysters, amazing, mignonette house made and amazing wh8ch accompanied the oysters and a cocktail sauce with a blend of old bay mixed in. I had an amazing oyster shooter with a twist, it's a must have, Whiskey Sour, amazing and then, I had the whole wood grilled fish which was spectacular. I never leave a review, this is my first and I will be back to this restaurant again!!! One more thing, thr bartenders, oyster shucker and the entire staff, were amazing. GREAT JOB.
My team had excellent dinner at the Rappahannock last night the place is modern, the service was pleasant-plus, the drinks and food came quickly, and several appetizers we had were all yummy! See you again next time we come to Richmond.
