“Finally got a chance to visit Honest on West Broad Street after a friend’s recommendation, and it did not disappoint! Tried the uttapam, idli, and dosas everything was incredibly delicious. The flavors were authentic, and the food was fresh. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian breakfast. Can’t wait to go back.

We were passing through from Florida and were craving some delicious Indian food. Honest was just wanted we needed. The food was delicious and so was the service. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely return.

It was an awesome experience. They recently changed the chef. The taste was so good. The first time, I tasted the dish the same as we get in India.

YUMMVEES VEGAN FOOD REVIEWS

Always delicious, take out from scratch vegan food. The Tofu parm is the best in biz and I crave it often. Sometimes I’ll get lucky and they’ll have The Zach Attack, which is a special variation on the Tofu parm and even better in my opinion. I send all my touring vegan musician friends there when they are on the road and they all report back how killer it is and that they wish they had a spot like this at home. Even the non vegans.

One of the best vegan spots in Richmond! Delicious food made from scratch and with love. I tend to order the cheeseburger with fries or side salad, tofu parm or reuben. It’s so hard to choose. Their events are amazing multi-course vegan meal events - seasonal or themed. If you see them promoting it, I would highly suggest going. You won’t regret it. Great people, great food.

Great food and a great team! Nashville Hot and the Reuben are some of my favorites! Best fries I’ve ever had!.

such a warm, comfortable, and welcoming space! loved the bulletin board in the front & all the community events and initiatives promoted around the cafe. the people were so friendly and the area around is super cute too. the cinnamon & jaggery iced latte was sooo good. will always come back when visiting Richmond and can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Gold Lion is our new favorite spot! The menu is about equal parts standard American and Indian. So many good vegan options and hands down the BEST matcha lattes I’ve found in this city. BEST vegan buffalo wings too. I love the guava gold smoothie. Great chickn and waffles.

Friendly staff and delicious vegan options. They offer American, Indian and some fusion dishes. The new mango samosas are amazing! The bowls are flavorful and filling. You really can't go wrong. This is a great place for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters.
