Very good! I had the Cha Gio (pork spring roll) to start and had the Mi Xao Don Bo (egg noodles with beef). Both were delicious, and a generous serving. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly! The spice paste at the table was not spicy enough for my preference, but should be more than enough for most! Definitely recommend if you’re feeling Vietnamese, it’s the best I’ve had in Richmond so far.

Visiting a friend who recommended this wonderful restaurant. As we were driving up she casually added, “Oh yeah. They’re also known for their beer.” Understatement of the year. The beverage list is brilliant. I tried the Peanut Butter & Jelly Beer. It was less beer and more magical elixir! I can’t wait to visit again. Oh, yeah. And see my friend.

Fantastic place for a whole bunch of Vietnamese food. Huge menu with a large range of options including vegetarian options. Good beer list with plenty of variety. This place is huge and can accommodate large parties, the staff seems to really have everything down to a science. Highly recommend.

PHO THIEN PHAT REVIEWS

I enjoyed the pho and my drink that had mangos, strawberries, lychee, chia seeds, coconut milk, and crushed ice, along with jelly. The spring rolls I got as an appetizer were also really good. The dipping sauce was not too thick and actually pretty liquid like but paired well with the rolls. The food also came out hot and fast. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty.

Super delicious food and drinks! We started with jasmine tea in adorable little cups. I got the veg fried rice, which had great flavor, and the strawberry Vietnamese yogurt drink. So good (and fun to shake) that we got the mango one to go! My hubby got the pho bo, with extra beef...great broth and fresh fixings to add. The staff were do friendly, offered suggestions, and very attentive.

Honestly, it's such a good place. It's one of the few pho places in Richmond to get seriously packed, and for good reason. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're craving some pho.

Congratulations to best place in the West End and all the fabulous people who keep us coming back. I don't know if it is the food or the family that we love more.

I've had pho from nearly every Vietnamese place in Richmond - the broth at Pho 1 Grill is fantastic and the the beef is of stellar quality.
