HANA JAPAN STEAK & SEAFOOD REVIEWS

While in town for work my coworker and I were looking for a nice dinner that was close by our hotel. This place fit the bill nicely! I had the combo teppanyaki aged ribeye and salmon. The portions were good sized and the flavor was spot on! They also made an excellent custom Martini for me that was excellent! Overall this place was a great experience and is highly recommended.

Hana Japan in West Berkeley is such a fun dining experience! The staff was attentive, and the chef made it super interactive! I loved watching my food cooked right in front of me. I ordered the Hibachi Trio with salmon, chicken, and jumbo shrimp, and the chicken paired with their house salad was so good. Don’t miss the dry-aged ribeye either! It’s packed with SO MUCH flavor. Great spot for large parties, with plenty of parking (a rare find in Berkeley!) and a beautiful view of the marina during dinner time.

I recently had my Birthday here and we had a blast. We had a great chef and he served us yummy food. Great place for the whole family. Good vibes good food.

It was a great restaurant to eat at. The view is beautiful the food and service was also great. My husband and I came from Colorado to get married and wanted a nice restaurant to enjoy and this was the perfect place. They even brought us a desert to enjoy and it was perfect.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and the quality of the food remains consistently excellent. I have tried a variety of dishes, including appetizers and desserts, all of which are fresh and flavorful. I always enjoy my meals while taking in the beautiful sunsets. The staff is professional, attentive, and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.

My friend celebrated her birthday here. The view are so good and the prices of food are surprisingly acceptable and with good taste!!! I really love the drink here.

We had dinner here to celebrate a birthday, and everything was wonderful! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The highlight of our evening was the exceptional service. Our server, Nara, was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed and created a warm, joyful atmosphere for our celebration. Her genuine hospitality made our experience truly memorable. We’re so grateful and would love to come back again. Highly recommend.

I can’t even describe how amazing of an experience I had at dinner tonight. Our server Vonda got us everything we needed and was so warm towards me and my friends. GUI the guacho served us the Wagyu and made the experience a 10/10. Jamba and Lawrence really helped elevate everything by always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Happy hour is simply amazing and there’s a separate menu for it that lasts all day. Ask for the waitress named Apple Juice. So sweet and so attentive! Yes that item is on the happy hour menu.
