GREAT CHINA REVIEWS
This is one of the best, if not the best Chinese restaurants that I have ever eaten at. The Peking duck was cooked to perfection, the meat moist, the skin crispy and the wraps are so much better than the doughy bao bread which is provided at many other restaurants. The winter melon soup taste was spot on, delicate and not over cooked. The hot and sour soup is hearty, peppery with a spicy kick. The lettuce wraps were a refreshing addition to the meal. Try the house special glazed eggplant if you want something spicy. The ants climbing up the tree dish is a mixture of flavors which end up delicious. The service is top notch. My water glass was constantly filled with the food server checking on us as each dish was delivered. When in Berkeley, this is a must try!
This is one of my favorite authentic Chinese food in the Bay Area, worth the drive to Berkeley for Great China. There are dishes such as ony choy and steamed fish that are so good I cannot find anywhere else yet in the Bay Area, and of course they’re known for the Peking Duck.
Amazing ambience. Spectacular food. Top notch service. Walking distance to Berkeley. Fresh hot food. Attentive staff. A diverse menu that will not dissapoint.

CHENGDU STYLE RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Good chinese food! Very authentic. Glad my husband found this place. When we were there around 3pm, all diners and pickup people were speaking Chinese. We felt as if we were inside a restaurant somewhere in China. We're going back definitely.
If you truly want to experience authentic Sichuan cuisine, just come to this restaurant and ask for extra spicy for every dish you order. The hot tea is on the house and the rice is a good $1 value. Definitely going to revisit with fans.
Some aspects of Chengdu Style, including the food, bring me back to my time in Chengdu itself. Great for large groups.
