My daughter and I absolutely love Sylvan! This is the second time we have been at this facility and both times I have seen an improvement in my daughters work at school. When we first started Sylvan, my daughter was struggling with math and lacked confidence. Since she started, her confidence and yearning to learn as improved so much. She is okay with making mistakes and learning from them. The whole team is so nice and welcoming and has been so open with working with our schedules. All this is why we came back and why we will continue to come to this Sylvan. I am thankful for everyone my daughter and I have come in contact with at this facility.

My children have been attending Math tutoring at Sylvan learning for over a year now. Not only have their grades improved, but I’ve seen their confidence grow, which has been amazing to see. The staff are always friendly and on hand to talk through any queries you may have or schedules changes etc. We also receive regular progress updates via email which I find useful. Overall we have been extremely happy with the level of service they provide and would confidently recommend to anyone seeking extra tutoring.

My son had done SAT preps with another group were he mainly completed worksheet after worksheet and then checked the answers. At Sylvan Learning of Alexandria, the tutors explained him the rationale for the answers and provided strategies for test taking. His score improved by 120 points. Not only am I satisfy for the results but I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and caring nature of the staff. I highly recommend this center.

We had an outstanding experience with C2 Education over the summer. Their intensive SAT prep program was comprehensive and effective, incorporating proprietary weekly mock tests, flexible scheduling, weekly assignments, 1:1 tutoring to address weak areas, and detailed post-exam analysis to target very specific types of problem spots. Following the SAT program, we also worked with Mr. Jonathan on my daughter’s college essay. His feedback and edits were insightful, impactful, and designed to stand out.
