3 Best Hotels in Alexandria, VA

I had my wedding here in late October, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff was fantastic to work with and made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. This venue is perfect for weddings for so many reasons—they provide many of the essentials, including beautiful table settings, which made things so convenient. We absolutely fell in love with the courtyard for our ceremony; it was a stunning setting. The ballroom was equally impressive and worked perfectly for our reception, while guests could still enjoy the courtyard throughout the evening. Being located in Old Town added another layer of fun, especially for the after-party. We capped off the night with some late-night Taco Bell in the hotel lobby, which felt like the perfect end to a memorable day. Having our guests stay right at the venue was a huge bonus—we didn’t have to worry about transportation logistics. The area’s rich history and the hotel’s unique charm made it all the more special. From beginning to end, the Alexandrian provided a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!

My fiancé and I chose this hotel for our elopement and we could not have been happier. Upon arrival Chris at the front desk made us feel so welcomed and helped us with parking. My fiancé told him why we were in town and he helped us coordinate so that we were able to use the courtyard at the hotel for our ceremony. Throughout our stay they made us feel so celebrated which was so nice seeing as we didn’t have a typical wedding and it was just the two of us. The hotel sent champagne up to our room as well as took care of breakfast the day after our wedding. Chris and a woman’s who name I didn’t get at the front desk (I believe Bella)were so kind throughout the whole stay and went above and beyond to make us feel special. We have already talked about how we would love to come back on our anniversary. This was by far our favorite hotel stay!

Lovely hotel with very nice staff. Room was comfortable and I loved that they had glass bottles of water there (as opposed to the plastic ones most hotels have). Parking garage is creepy with flickering lights, they definitely need to invest in better light bulbs.

Had an amazing 3-night stay for business purposes and loved everything about this hotel. The hospitality that I received from their staff in every department was simply the best. The suite was extremely clean, the front desk staff was warm and welcoming and the valet guys were great. I also enjoyed a nice dinner at Trademark, which is the restaurant on site. I highly recommend this Westin and have plans on returning in the summer. Thanks again!

The Hotel is clean and well-maintained, a bit isolated but easily accessible and within walking distance to King Street and the Metro. Good place for conferences and it seems like they can easily accommodate large groups. With all the crowd and young kids staying to attend school's tournament, the hotel remained pretty quiet and enjoyable. The restaurant service is pretty good and appealing. Enjoyed a nice and quiet dinner.

I enjoyed my stay at The Westin Alexandria Old Town. The room was spacious. It contained a desk, mini fridge, and plenty of drawer and closet space. I wish the room contained a microwave, though. The bed was comfortable. The open areas smelled divine. I wish I could have bottled the scent and took it home. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
