GOLDEN VEGAN REVIEWS

It was my first time trying this restaurant after seeing great reviews about them. It's black owned, and I wanted to support it. Im not vegan. However, I do love vegetables. I got the mushroom burger with special fries, and everything was delicious, fresh, and hot! The young lady that owns the restaurant took my order, and she was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to try something else.

This vegan restaurant is delicious! The staff is super kind, and the service is good. It is a very small place, just a couple of tables, so it is better to get your order to go. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing food. I had the single stack veggie cheeseburger and fries. The sauce is amazing. The service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend this place in Zachary.

Love this place. Cannot wait to come back to Baton Rouge and come eat here again! Big portions and absolute deliciousness of different flavors. Tried the sweet heat cauliflower, yams, squash, vibe burger, spicy double burger, oyster mushrooms, and all were incredible! Feel good food that will not bog you down after eating it. Even the cold leftovers were still delectable. Thank you for the great meals.

The food was great. We had the meatloaf with collard greens and yams and the red bean burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious, and the owner was a delight. If I lived nearby, I would be here often.

The best vegan Mac n cheese I've ever had hands down - I'm from Los angeles & a seasoned traveler, trust me this place is worth a drive from NOLA just to get urself some of their cauliflower wings - would come here again if Im ever in Baton Rouge.

MJ'S ambience is reminiscent of Southern antiquities meets eclectic charm. The energy is welcoming and relaxed. They also sell antiques. The food exceeded my taste expectations. The black bean soup and West African peanut soup were delicious. If you're looking for a Vegan/Vegetarian dining experience in Baton Rouge, I highly recommend stopping by MJ'S Cafe.

If you’re in the Garden District and craving a hearty vegetarian meal, this spot is a must-visit. The cauliflower and black bean wraps were absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Baton Rouge.MJ came out and spoke to us and we enjoyed the vibe and her gracious attitude.

A great vegan/vegetarian place located at White Star Food Hall. I had the one with pecans, apples, and goat cheese. It was great.
